These terms are a contract between you and Nihilo LLC. ("we", "us") for this website, the loader (nihiloloader.exe) and the Nihilo software (together, the "Service"). You accept them when you create an account. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
While your account is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the software for your own non-commercial use. You must not copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute it, remove or bypass its signature, licence or HWID checks, or reverse engineer or decompile it, except where the law allows this despite this clause.
The software only runs with the 2018 build of CS:GO started with -insecure, which turns off VAC and keeps the game off secure servers. Use it only offline, on servers you run, or on servers whose operator allows it. Do not use it against players who did not agree to it, in matchmaking, leagues, tournaments, or anything with money or prizes.
Using third-party software with a game may break the game publisher's terms, such as the Steam Subscriber Agreement. Following those terms is your responsibility. We are not responsible for bans, lost game accounts or lost items.
You run Lua scripts at your own risk. We do not review scripts written by others. With "unsafe scripts" turned on, a script can run any code on your PC. Only load scripts you trust.
We may change, pause or stop the Service at any time. We do not promise that it is always available or that it works with every game install. Beta and Developer builds are test builds and may be unstable.
The Service is currently free. If we add paid features, we will show their terms before you pay.
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we have to by law. Where reasonable we tell you why first. When your account ends, your licence ends and you must delete the loader. Sections 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 still apply after that.
The software and the website belong to us or our licensors. Open-source parts are under their own licences (see Legal notice). Counter-Strike, CS:GO, Steam and Valve are trademarks of Valve Corporation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve.
As far as the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty. We do not promise that it is free of bugs, will not crash your game or PC, will not lose your data, or will not get your game account banned.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or bans, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights under the law of the country you live in are not affected.
As far as the law allows, you will cover our costs from claims by others that arise because you broke these terms or the law.
We will announce important changes on the website at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, stop using the Service; you may ask us to delete your account. If you keep using it after that date, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the law of USA. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
If a part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we do not give it up. We may transfer this contract to a successor who runs the Service.
This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and your rights under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws.
The controller is [Operator name], [Postal address], [Contact email]. [If the operator is outside the EU or UK: EU and UK representatives (GDPR Art. 27), with name and address.]
Without the account and loader data we cannot provide the Service. We do not use your data for advertising, sell it, or share it for advertising. We make no automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects (Art. 22); the HWID check only decides which PC the loader runs on.
The loader checks your game's version and file hashes on your PC; they are not sent to us. Configs, presets, scripts and logs stay in the nihilo folder of your game install. The software sends none of them to us.
We use one session cookie that the website needs to keep you logged in. We use no analytics, advertising, tracking, social media plugins, or third-party fonts or scripts. Because the only cookie is strictly necessary, we do not ask for cookie consent.
Our hosting provider, [Hosting provider, country], stores the data for us under a data processing agreement (Art. 28). Nobody else receives it, unless the law requires us to give it to an authority. [If the host is outside the EEA or UK: the transfer safeguard, e.g. an adequacy decision or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.]
When you ask us to delete your account, we delete its data within 30 days. This includes the invite records that link you to other accounts: in the inviter's list, the code you used then shows only "deleted account". Backups are overwritten within a further 30 days. We keep data longer only where the law requires it, or where we need it for a specific legal claim that exists at the time (for example, an open abuse case), and only that data, only for that claim, and no longer than the claim lasts.
You have the right to access your data (Art. 15), correct it (Art. 16), have it deleted (Art. 17), restrict its use (Art. 18), receive it in a machine-readable format (Art. 20), and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21). We do not rely on consent, so there is no consent to withdraw. Write to [Contact email] with your username. We may ask you to prove the account is yours, for example by logging in. We answer within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the EU country where you live (list of EU authorities), or the ICO in the UK. Our lead authority is [Supervisory authority].
The website uses HTTPS only. Passwords are stored as salted slow hashes. Logins are rate limited, and only [Operator name] can access the data. If a breach puts your data at risk, we report it as the law requires and tell you if the risk to you is high.
The Service is for people 18 or older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we delete it.
We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act. Everyone, wherever they live, has the rights in section 7.
We will post a new version here with a new date, and announce important changes on the website before they apply.
